leggy catnip master gardener georgia garden

Leggy Catnip

I bought several plants from the Forsyth County Master Gardener show held at the Cumming Fairgrounds recently.

I got a couple heirloom tomatoes (Cherokee purple, Matt’s Wild Cherry, Chocolate Cherry), some St. John’s Wort, Queen Anne’s Lace, Wormwood, Lemon Verbena, Lemongrass, Catnip, Fennel, Dill and probably a few more I’m forgetting off hand.

The Catnip was crazy.  Literally crazy.  It was limp and leggy and lazy.  I’ve never seen a mint plant so lazy before.  I pinched the heck out of it (as per mint plant pruning) and hope it recovers.  It’s just weird.
